ONLINE WORKSHOP in October 2021 | Oyagame-Kogame

This is a 120-minute online workshop via zoom with Kazue from SASHIKO.LAB. The whole session will be held in ENGLISH. In October, we will enjoy the reversible design with Oyagame / Kogame patterns on the DOUBLED fabric. 

This workshop is recommended for people like you!

・ I’ve never tried hitomezashi sashiko. 

   ( Don’t know what hitomezashi is.)

・I don’t know how to stitch on the doubled fabric.

・I wanna learn the weaving sashiko technique.

・I want to make my back of my sashiko more neat and beautiful.

・I want to connect with like-minded people from all over the world.

PLEASE NOTE:

The materials and the tools are NOT included. Please prepare the needed materials and tools by yourself before joining the workshop.

THE MATERIALS you will need

- 2 pieces of 12×12cm square of cotton fabric 

- Sashiko thread (or embroidery floss)

- The hand sewing thread to prepare the fabric before the workshop

THE TOOLS you will need

-A sashiko needle 

(or any needle you have, the thick and long one is better )

-The scissors

-A ruler

-An erasable pen

-A thimble if you need one

The homework you have to do before the workshop

①Double the fabric.

②Draw the8×8cm square with 5mm grid.
