ONLINE WORKSHOP in June 2021 | Ajisai-sashi
This is a 120-minute online workshop via zoom with Kazue from SASHIKO.LAB. The whole session will be held in ENGLISH.
This month, I will teach HOW TO STITCH ON THE DOBLED FABRIC along with stitching “Ajisai-sashi” together. Ajisai-sashi was the most popular pattern in my workshop in Kyoto. Also, it was the first pattern that I chose as the assignment when I started to teach online in June, 2020.

PLEASE NOTE:
The materials and the tools are NOT included. Please prepare the needed materials and tools by yourself before joining the workshop.

THE MATERIALS you will need
- 2 pieces of cotton fabric
- Sashiko thread (or embroidery floss)
THE TOOLS you will need
-A sashiko needle
(or any needle you have, the thick and long one is better )
-The thread cutting scissors
-A thimble if you need one
-A ruler
-An erasable pen
THE PREPARING you have to do before the workshop
(Refer to the tutorial videos in the PDF file)
①Draw the 10×10 grid on the fabric(recommended grid size : 7〜10mm)
②Baste the two pieces of fabric
